The Most Hot Topics in AmericaIn a time when we have our eyes on hot topics in American politics, it seems that it is all about the latest event, the next political scandal or perhaps the fact that both parties are at each other's throats. It is somewhat ironic that politics would be a hot topic in America in 2020 because more than any other time in our history, it has been dominated by politics and money.
Over the past two years the world has gone through economic recession and as a result, the political elite seems to have moved on from politics and to become a part of the corporations and the commercial interests of America. Politics has definitely become a bit dull since there are more important issues than having to deal with politicians who are either part of the problem or who are working to provide services and solutions for the common person.
In a time where we seem to have forgotten what it is to live in harmony and a culture of tolerance and love, we can really see the hot topics in America. There are so many things that happen on a daily basis, so many people that struggle every day to survive and to make it through an already very difficult economic situation. Politics are hot topics in America and unfortunately seem to be the only major issue that the media seems to be covering anymore.
More than the economy, politics in America are the first things that people think about and from my perspective, I think that it is quite sad that even some pundits in the media have tried to argue that the current government is the root cause of the current economic issues that are plaguing the country. Just because you agree with someone does not mean that you know the facts or that you know the real story. And it makes me wonder if the media has forgotten that people are just like them and that we can all be manipulated to do something if we are not properly informed.
When you look at hot topics in America, you will find that there are more people turning to religion and spirituality and to things that they believe in, because there seems to be no hope in terms of the political system. And as of late, we have seen more people turning to cults, groups and even religions that are based on religion. And again, the media, which is supposed to keep us informed about such topics, seems to be ignoring these things completely.
What will be interesting is if the politicians and the media do what they say and choose to ignore religion and keep religion out of politics. If they choose to ignore the fact that religion is playing a major role in politics, what will be interesting is if the people who are religious will be able to get their voices heard and if they will be listened to. And if they decide to ignore it all, then we might have to look into getting another outlet where we can finally listen to what they have to say.
Another hot topic in America in terms of religion would be the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. When I hear about a war in Iraq, the first thing that comes to mind is war and what it will do to that country and its people. It is certainly more than the other news or celebrity gossip.
Because of the war, the media has also lost its footing in keeping the public informed about the real news in general, whether that be about politicians, public officials, social issues or anything else. Personally, I think that there is a chance that the people who run the media do not care much about politics and they are more concerned with making money for themselves and their media conglomerates.
